About the Opportunity

The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, preparation, and dispatch of commercial office furniture.

This role is highly hands-on, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. Associates are key to keeping inventory flowing smoothly and ensuring our clients receive their furniture in perfect condition.

About the Deliverables

Receiving & Inventory

  • Unload trucks and containers, verify paperwork, and inspect items for damage.
  • Tag, store, and organize furniture by project or warehouse zone.
  • Assist with cycle counts and full inventories; keep WMS updated.

Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, stage, and prepare items according to project pull lists.
  • Wrap, pad, and load furniture safely for delivery.
  • Assist with mini-deliveries and disposal removal as required.

Returns & Damaged Items

  • Segregate and label returned/damaged goods clearly.
  • Report issues to the Warehouse Manager for resolution.

Equipment, Safety & Housekeeping

  • Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely; complete daily checks.
  • Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse and comply with all PPE/safety standards.

End-of-Day Support

  • Confirm orders staged for next day.
  • Update systems and provide a handoff to the Manager on any discrepancies.


About You

Our ideal candidate brings…

  • 1–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience (furniture/home goods preferred).
  • Valid Forklift Operator License (required).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely.
  • Driver’s licence; access to a van is an asset for mini-deliveries/disposals.
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
